Safaricom has temporary closed its shops in Nyali and Rex House (both in Mombasa) as well as the ones in Thika and Lavington Mall to allow for cleaning, fumigation and sanitisation.  This is in order to safeguard the health and wellbeing of its staff and customers due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.  According to the telco’s chief executive officer, Mr. Peter Ndegwa, the affected shops will reopen this week on Thursday.

For the time being, customers will continue being served in the nearby shops and self-service channels including: Zuri Chatbot, MySafaricom App as well as the interactive biometric system. Safaricom’s care lines – 100 and 200 – are also available to all customers.
