Qatar Airways Launches Qsuite on Nairobi, Kenya Route

Qatar Airways brings its award-wining Qsuite to Nairobi on board its state-of-the-art Airbus A350-1000 featuring 46 seats in business class and 281 seats in economy class. The addition of Qsuite to the Nairobi frequency will offer passengers ( especially those connecting with onwards journies to the US )  an unparalleled level of comfort with the industry’s first in business experience.

Patented by Qatar Airways, Qsuite features the industry’s first-ever double bed available in business class, as well as private cabins for up to four people with privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room. This is  a first of its kind in the industry. Adjustable panels and movable TV monitors on the centre four seats allow colleagues, friends or families travelling together to transform their space into a private suite. They can therefore  work, dine and socialise together.

Qatar Airways offers double-daily services to Nairobi from Doha with  fourteen  flights per week utilising its sustainable and fuel efficient Boeing 787-800 dreamliner  aircraft on one frequency and the Airbus A350-1000 on the other.

Passengers on Qatar Airways from Africa can enjoy new baggage allowances ranging from forty six kilogrammes  for economy   class  split over two pieces and sixty four kilogrammes   split over two pieces in business class. This initiative is designed to offer passengers more flexibility and comfort when travelling on board Qatar Airways.

Qatar Airways was recently named Airline of the Year 2021 by AirlineRatings, also clinching Best Middle East Airline, Best Catering  and Best Business Class awards. It  became the first global airline in the world to achieve the prestigious 5-Star Covid-19 Airline Safety Rating by international air transport rating organisation, Skytrax.

This follows the success of Hamad International Airport (HIA) as the first airport in the Middle East and Asia to be awarded a Skytrax 5-Star Covid-19 Airport Safety Rating.
