MKU Hosts a Highly Successful Conference

Mount Kenya University (MKU), the leading private university in the country recently hosted the 5th International Interdisciplinary Research Conference which was highly successful. This was in collaboration with Kyambogo University (Uganda), Chukwuemba Odumegwu Ojukwu University (Nigeria) and University of Eldoret (Kenya) under the auspices of the Inter-Universities Research Consortium.

The topics that were discussed in the three day event were: Innovation in Higher Education sector, Digital Transformation-opportunities and challenges as well as fake News,Cyber crime and security. The keynote speakers included: Prof Stanley W. Waudo, VC, MKU,Dr. Ezekiel Matma,CEO, KFCB and Hon. Kimani Wamatangi, Senator Kiambu County.

The theme of the conference was:”Digital Innovation and Knowledge Economy: Opportunities and Challenges Towards Achieving Sustainable Development Goals”.
