GILBERT MBURU: MENTOR SACCO IS HELPING ME TO SECURE MY FUTURE

Mr. Gilbert Kiarie Mburu,  joined  Mentor Sacco in 2013. He teaches at  Kathambara primary school.  “ I  noticed  that one of my colleagues who was a member of Mentor was making a lot of progress and this motivated me to follow  her example,” he said. Additionally, through the Sacco’s long term loan product dubbed ‘jijenge’, Mr. Mburu  has been able to purchase a piece of land in which he is currently putting up a modern family house.  He has  also ventured into poultry farming after being financed to buy an incubator by the Sacco.

Since 2013, he has religiously attended all the members’ education, training and information days ( MIDs) organized by the Sacco. “ Today, I have learnt how to liberate myself from debts, the benefits of making wise investment decisions and how to achieve financial freedom,” Mr. Mburu  said after attending the MID at Gatanga primary school. “ This will help me to secure my future,” he added.
