Kingdom Bank has opened its twenty first branch in Kitale town, Trans Nzoia County. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in the bank’s mission to enhance financial inclusion and support the vibrant economic landscape of Kenya.
Commitment
Located at the GH Tanna building along Kenyatta Street, the new branch reaffirms the bankās commitment to being a steadfast partner for the micro, small and medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kitale and beyond. It will mainly focus on serving local entrepreneurs, agribusiness investors and commercial farmers. To that end, it will provide them with solutions like : farm input loans and insurance, asset finance for the acquisition of vehicles, farm machinery and essential equipment to retool and revitalize their farms and businesses. In this era of digitalization, customers will also be able to access the bankās products and services through its mobile banking application and unstructured supplementary service data ( USSD ) code.
Expansion
Speaking during the opening of the branch, Kingdom Bank Managing Director, Mr. Anthony Mburu said : ” We are excited to expand our footprint to Kitale, the vibrant hub of Kenyaās grain basket that is Trans Nzoia County.ā He added : ā This new branch is part of our ongoing network expansion programme that will see Kingdom Bank open new branches in carefully selected towns and commercial centres throughout the country.ā Also speaking while launching the new branch, the chief guest and Governor Trans Nzoia County, H.E George Natembeya said : ” The decision to open this branch is a vote of confidence in the great people of Kitale and Trans Nzoia County as a whole.ā
