While GlobalData’s latest report, “Global Hiring Activity – Trends & Signals 2023,” reveals a decline in global hiring activity (posted jobs) in 2023, January 2024 saw many companies hiring across potential areas of growth, investment, and innovation.  Sherla Sriprada, business fundamentals analyst at GlobalData, comments: “The key areas of focus include data and analytics, emerging technologies, customer experience and marketing, supply chain and operations, talent acquisition and expansion.”

Microsoft Corp is establishing a new team focused on building and shipping cross cloud framework components and driving In-depth engagements with ROTH and Platform ISVs. DXC Technology Co is hiring for a newly formed team in the D365 area in Poland.  In the same regard, Airbus SE is hiring data analysts, process managers, pricing specialists and product support in Denmark for its newly created business performance and improvement unit. It is also hiring personnel for maintenance services in India. RTX Corp is hiring for its xTM Engineering group looking at developing prototypes and product concepts for the integration of uncrewed vehicles and advanced air mobility platforms into global air-traffic ecosystem.

Tesla Inc. is looking for a delivery advisor in Belgium to create a pre-delivery customer experience by tracking and updating customer details. Genuine Parts Co is creating a team of AI/ML Engineers to build the next models and AI-driven digital catalogue and discovery (search and recommendations) products.

Shell Plc is hiring a newly created Travel and Expense Team for its Shell Business Operations in the Philippines to manage the card application process of new corporate card bank partners.
