EQUITY CUSTOMERS TO GET DISCOUNT ON PURCHASES AT BLUEROOM RESTAURANT AND ROSEWOOD FURNITURE

Equity has partnered with Mombasa based restaurant, Blueroom. This will see the bank’s customers get a ten per cent discount on all meals paid for through the Equity cards and EazzyPay across all its outlets. Equity card holders who wish to make online purchases can still benefit from the offer by using the discount coupon.

This partnership will enable Equity to leverage its card offering by incentivizing the customers to make contactless payments especially during the Covid-19 period. It is in line with the government’s measures to facilitate cashless transactions.   By encouraging  the use of Equity cards, the bank  aims at  facilitating  cash lite transactions  among  the  revelers  at  the restaurant  which are secure and convenient . Blueroom has two outlets in   Mombasa and one in Kakamega.

Equity has also partnered with office furniture retail outlet, Rosewood Furniture in Nairobi, where customers who make purchases using its cards will    get up to sixty per cent discount on selected items.   The Ministry of Health has developed various   guidelines and protocols that are aimed at alleviating the spread of Covid-19 pandemic in Kenya
