STUNNERBIZ 2024: CATALYZING INNOVATION AND EMPOWERING ENTREPRENEURS

StunnerBiz 2024, organized by Biashara Leo magazine  and BL Digital, has concluded with resounding success. The inaugural event  brought   together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and innovators from across the country. Held on 1^st November 2024 at the Movenpick Hotel, Westlands, the  interactive  event served as a hub for ideas, networking, and learning, all aimed at fostering growth and innovation in the business world.

The event showcased an inspiring  keynote speaker,  Dr. George Wachiuri, the founder and Group CEO of Optiven Limited,  along with engaging panel discussions and interactive sessions. The young , ambitious  and resilient  entrepreneurs in attendance gained invaluable insights from the panel discussion and explored the latest trends and strategies in business and technology, ensuring they left equipped with actionable knowledge.

The panelists included : Dr. Patrick Gathondu, CEO, Bimas Kenya,  Mr. Reuben Mwaura, CEO, VisionFund Kenya, Collins Wanyonyi, director, SME banking, Equity Bank Kenya , Carolyne Gathuru, founder, iSpeak and Emma Omany, founder and CEO, Busu Skincare. “Our goal is to create a platform where ideas are not only shared but transformed into actionable strategies,” said George Gichuki, the managing editor, Biashara Leo magazine. “StunnerBiz is about equipping entrepreneurs with the tools they need to thrive in today’s competitive market,” he added.

Participants emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to help entrepreneurs  unlock  their full potential, enabling them to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

Innovation was identified as a cornerstone for success, with attendees acknowledging that embracing new ideas and approaches is vital. Additionally, resilience was underscored as a crucial trait for entrepreneurs, enabling them to navigate challenges and persevere in their ventures.

StunnerBiz 2024 also offered unique networking opportunities through  mentorship clinic and sponsors’  engagement sessions. Entrepreneurs connected with potential investors, partners, and mentors, paving the way for future collaborations and partnerships.

Dr.  Wachiuri, the keynote speaker, expressed his enthusiasm, stating : “If I ever become president,  entrepreneurs are the people I would  protect  most   in this country. They work round the clock  and   leave no stone unturned. That  is   why I’m so thrilled that Biashara Leo magazine  has  hosted an   event specifically for entrepreneurs.”
