Kenya’s largest privately owned bank Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) has announced a partnership with a Kenyan afro-pop band Sauti Sol, to promote its digital revolutionary banking service, Loop.
The campaign is dubbed: “The Story of us Before the Glory”. It will showcase the band’s success story in the world of music.
CBA Loop is an integrated full banking service for customers who seek control over their finances and support for their growth aspirations. It comprises various financial services such as savings, payments, investment, financial goal setting and tracking, expenditure monitoring and tracking as well as bill payments.
The head of business management at CBA’s new business ventures, Angela Muriuki said they are excited about this collaboration as it will enable them illustrate the vision behind Loop.
“Loop enables the growth of its customers through its product offering, and Sauti Sol is a true representation of this through the journey of both the band and its individual members,” said Ms. Muriuki.
Launched in March 2017, Loop, offered through mobile and web applications, allows for online account opening. It comes with a MasterCard debit card that is internationally accepted and linked with exciting offers. It further allows customers access to strategically located designated stores, for limited services through dedicated customer service agents. Loop customers can access loans of up to Kshs. 3 million to help them in achieving short and long-term financial goals.
