ALL ROADS LEAD TO OTHAYA: THE COUNTDOWN TO STUNNERBIZ MASHINANI

The countdown is on. In just a matter of days, Othaya Teachers’ College, Nyeri County, will play host to one of the most anticipated events in Kenya’s agribusiness calendar; StunnerBiz Mashinani 2025, set for 26th–27th September.

With more than 3,000 participants and exhibitors expected, this two-day Agribusiness Conference and Expo promises to be more than an event. It’s a movement designed to reshape mindsets, unlock opportunities, and redefine the role of youth and rural communities in Kenya’s food systems.

Why Othaya, Why Now?

Agriculture is the lifeblood of rural Kenya, yet youth unemployment remains a staggering challenge. Many young people still perceive farming as a last resort, rather than a pathway to innovation and prosperity. Othaya was chosen deliberately; it is a heartbeat of Central Kenya’s agriculture, rich in potential but underexplored by modern agribusiness enablers.

Bringing StunnerBiz here means taking opportunities closer to the people who need them most.

What Awaits Participants

Attendees can expect:

  • Inspiring discussions on mindset, value addition, climate resilience, and digital farming.
  • Interactive exhibitions showcasing solutions from financial institutions, agritech firms, renewable energy innovators, cooperatives, and MSMEs.
  • Seasoned agripreneurs sharing their journeys to success.
  • Networking spaces where youth meet the very organizations that can fund, mentor, and scale their ideas.

And to crown it all, there will be a celebration of culture, food, and the resilient spirit of rural Kenya.

 A Historic Convergence

The excitement is building. Financial giants, SACCOs, agro-input companies, processors, TVETs, and development partners have already confirmed their presence. Media partners, including GTN TV, are on board to ensure the message resonates beyond Nyeri to the whole country.

Truly, all roads lead to Othaya this September. For the youth, it’s more than just an expo, it’s a chance to see, touch, and believe in the future of agribusiness. For organizations, it’s a powerful platform to connect with the next generation of agripreneurs and rural changemakers.

As the final stretch begins, one thing is certain: Othaya will not be the same after StunnerBiz Mashinani.
