Lydia Mungai, a dedicated primary school teacher and a proud member of Mentor Sacco, has been with the Sacco for over twenty years. Throughout her long relationship with the Sacco, she has experienced first hand how it has supported her personal development and the education of her children. From securing loans for home development to managing school fees, Mentor Sacco has been a reliable partner in Lydia’s journey.“I can truly say that Mentor Sacco has helped me grow my home and supported my children during their school years. Having been with Mentor Sacco since its early days, Lydia has watched the organization evolve and expand, and she believes it is headed for even greater success. “When I joined Mentor Sacco, it was a small organization, but now it has become big and its future looks very bright,” she added.
Passionate
Lydia is a passionate Mentor Sacco advocate. She advises teachers, other professionals and the business community to join the Sacco. “The returns are great and the Sacco truly takes care of its members. I was the first person to join in my family, and since then I have mentored my children and friends into the Sacco, and they are all earning good dividends,” Lydia explained. “I have brought in my relatives, and now even my children are part of Mentor Sacco, and we are all happy with the services we receive.”
Lydia’s advice to fellow members and potential members is quite clear: “Members should save, invest and take loans so that Mentor Sacco can continue to grow year after year. It is a Sacco that listens, understands our needs, and helps us to achieve our goals.”
